SAMANTHA MANZUR
ABOUT
Samantha Manzur graduated with a BA in Acting from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and holds a Masters in Performance Practice and Research from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, University of London. She is primarily an actress for stage and recently has started exploring film. She speaks English and Spanish.
As well as acting, she is also involved in performance experimentation (on acting methods), teaches acting, and has worked as director of Interdicta Collective.
Manzur's study Between Acting and Performing was presented at IFTR (International Federation for Theatre and Performance Research) 2022 in Iceland.

INTERDICTA COLLECTIVE
INTERDICTA is an interdisciplinary collective, led by Samantha Manzur, made up of members specialised in stage practice, design, music, research, and theatre and performance studies. With our diverse backgrounds and international perspective, we seek to develop challenging projects for a wide set of spectators, using theatre to consider ideas around memory.
In 2018 we created our first work, Cuerpo Pretérito (Preterit Body), an immersive theatre/museum experience.
In 2021, we launched our book, Entre Actuar y Performar (Between Acting and Performing), a study on acting practices developed during the post-dictatorship period in Chile.
